The Caribbean Palaeontologist

I’m the Caribbean Palaeontologist. I would like to wish you a warm welcome to my blog!

Born in Trinidad and Tobago TT, I study Caribbean fossils and spend my time reading decades-old scientific literature. My work often takes me into the quiet basements of museums and old dusty libraries around the world 🌍 searching for forgotten Caribbean fossils and overlooked collections.

I’m driven by uncovering the lost and fragmented stories of the Caribbean’s natural history 🦕, not only through fossils, but through the people behind the science. I enjoy reading letters from the 1900s 📜, tracing how the relationships, conversations, and collaborations between past scientists helped shape the field we know today.

Join me as I share both my past and ongoing investigations 🔍, offering insights into the world of palaeontology and natural history through my perspective as a young Caribbean woman in science 🧪✨.
