All teams will qualify. Teams wil be seeded based upon their regular season records. It is a two game guarantee with a possibility of 4-5 games. All referee fees will be paid by the WYBL. Win the first game and you advance to the Championship side of the bracket; lose and you head to the Consolation side. From that point, one loss and you are eliminated. All 7th & 8th grade divisions will play the first weekend date (March 1-2) and I will fill in the other grades & divisions around the available gym time we have on those dates. All others will play the March 8-9 weekend. I will finalize everything over the winter holiday break and post the dates so everyone will have plenty of time in advance to plan.

Baseball has the Home Run Derby, Football has Punt, Pass & Kick. Move aside all, as Steve Novak and his team has a great basketball shooting competition called 2's, Free's, and 3's. It is open to everyone and will crown champions in each age division (March 2025), but first you have to reach a qualifying score to make the final. With over 5,500 games over 20 weeks while utilizing 5-7 large facilities per week, there are times where we do have to make a change to the original schedule. Please get in the habit of looking at the website where we will post any last minute change. The WYBL also has a Facebook page where will post updates. Often, an email will also be sent to your program coordinator with instructions to pass along the changes to all coaches in the program.
