Robert “BDub” Wright is an audio engineer, music producer, educator, mentor, creative technologist, and lifelong student of sound whose career spans over four decades of recording, mixing, composing, and teaching. Beginning his musical journey at the family piano as a child and evolving through trombone performance, amateur radio experimentation, recording engineering, and professional studio work, Wright built a uniquely interdisciplinary foundation that blends musicianship, technology, and human development.

Across forty years in the music and audio industry, Wright has worked in studio recording, live sound, post-production, electronic music, and contemporary songwriting — all while serving as a mentor and educator to hundreds of emerging engineers, producers, and artists. His teaching career reflects the same philosophy that shaped Out of My Mind Success: that the most meaningful learning in audio happens through guided experience, human connection, and creative problem-solving, not just technical demonstration.
